In my 2023 Fall semester, I had the privilege to intern at the Arizona Republic for their AZ Central podcast, Valley 101, where I helped host, record, edit and write a few episodes of their podcast.

This was a collaborative projects I worked on with my supervisor. I helped edit and record a portion of this episode. It was a fun project to work on, and discover more of Arizona's local haunts.
Welcome to donkey race country
In this episode I was able to take a deeper look into a niche hobby in the valley: donkey races. I was able to talk to a local Equine group that provides resources to new owners.
Valley 101: Is there a correlation between Heat and Crime
This is my first podcast episode for Arizona Central. I interviewed psychologists, climatologists and the heat and mitigation office to find out if there was a correlation between crime and heat. This question came to fruition after seeing a federal DOJ study.
How Phoenix Latinos are represented in the local music scene
This specifically was a project I was very proud of as I was able to able to showcase my passion for Latin Music. I spoke to former member of The Script, Rodney Alejandro to get a deeper look into the Latin music scene. As well as interview local talent who have been able to grow in Phoenix.
